Biblical Prophecies on the Advent of
Muhammad , the Prophet of Islam

http://www.islam-guide.com/ch1-3.htm

The Biblical prophecies on the advent of the Prophet Muhammad are evidence of the truth of Islam for people who believe in the Bible.

In Deuteronomy 18,Moses stated that God told him: “I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him. If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account.” (Deuteronomy 18:18-19).1

From these verses we conclude that the prophet in this prophecy must have the following three characteristics:

1) That he will be like Moses.

2) That he will come from the brothers of the Israelites, i.e. the Ishmaelites.

3) That God will put His words in to the mouth of this prophet and that he will declare what God commands him.

🔴 What Is Islam? ⚠

🔴 Islam is not just another religion.

🔵 It is the same message preached by Moses, Jesus and Abraham.

🔴 Islam literally means ‘submission to God’ and it teaches us to have a direct relationship with God.

🔵 It reminds us that since God created us, no one should be worshipped except God alone.

🔴 It also teaches that God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine.

🌍 The concept of God is summarized in the Quran as:

📖 { “Say, He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He does not give birth, nor was He born, and there is nothing like Him.”} (Quran 112:1-4)[4] 📚

🔴 Becoming a Muslim is not turning your back to Jesus.

🔵 Rather it’s going back to the original teachings of Jesus and obeying him.

🔴 God has said in the Quran:

{Say, [O Muhammad], "O people, if you are in doubt as to my religion - then I do not worship those which you worship besides Allah; but I worship Allah, who causes your death. And I have been commanded to be of the believers (10:104)}

🔴 “…No person earns any (sin) except against himself (only), and no bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another…” (Quran 6:164)

🔵 “The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.” (Deuteronomy 24:16)

🔻 None can reject that in these two verses, the first from the Quran and the second from the Bible, is an allusion to the same meaning: that the Just God will never punish people for the sins of others.🔺
