Finally got an Audio Interface. Configuring Pipewire to use realtime priority in #linux.
Totally happy with my "ICON Pro Audio" interface. Instead of paying $100s of dollars more. It was less than $100 and has better quality components.

I learned that Harrison Mixbus endorses the brand. I use the Mixbus and have for many years. Decided to try a cheaper model interface and was totally worth it. The interface even ships with a Harrison plugin.

I'm just noticing now that, maybe it wasn't #Nostria but my 8GB of RAM in my old laptop. It runs amazing with a new GPU and 16 GB RAM. I mean, ..it should! :D

Just saying, I really have no issues now with lag and things not updating, etc..

Soon I will have 32+ GB RAM, and a bunch of SSDs. Then I have to sort out my data get it off of one SSD. I bought 5 year old hardware specification, hardware that ran amazing 5 years ago that was considered pretty good. But everything is running amazing, and if I ever become rich, maybe I'll get some super slick setup.

20 years ago, I paid over $1500 CAD for a setup I built which was 300% worse than what I have now apparently. Speaking from a GPU and Processor standpoint. Five years ago it was still running really good. So hopefully this new setup will last me 15-20 years after upgrading my RAM and Storage components. I might get a new case as well.

I've never had a 6-core AMD4 core. I also have a GFX 1080. The last build was a good quality i5 Quad Core and a GFX 950. Honestly pretty happy with everything.

The ~$1500 build went through some shit, and I'm happy it survived the tenure it did. From hardware fire from a Molex power cable which torched my GFX 640, the rebuild upgraded to the 950, new PSU, case. The motherboard, CPU, RAM, HDDs, and SSDs, DVD ROM survived that ordeal.

Good to be back, #Nostr!
A lot has changed.
- New Computer (Desktop/GPU)
- Docker Implementation
- More AI
- Learning all things selfhost.
- Looking at E4B LLMs & Neuro Network Training.
- Want to selfhost Hermes on Docker
- Docker + Alpine Linux + Hermes
- Then the real workflow starts.
- Trying to come up with a No Code/Vibe Code implementation through Hermes
- Just found out about SmallCode.
- Currently configuring selfhosted SearXNG(on Docker without AI implementation)

Early next week, I'll be back into Audio Production mode.
- I've used Harrison Mixbus for years.
- They recommend Icon Pro Audio Interfaces.
- It's a class-compliant device which means it'll work with Linux via Plug/Play. Which doesn't mean plug in and GOGOGOGO. At this point you're configuring Real-time kernel implementation, prioritizing processes, and a bunch of other things.
- What matters is the quality components the brand uses, and why it is recommended.
- I can't wait to get audio production rolling again.

I'd have to say, for everything that was ripped off from me(Separation/Divorce in another country), I'm feeling damn fine after 3 years head deep into it. No resolve, all I can is I'm alive and thriving. Feeling better than ever.

Not even an evening coffee is gonna keep me awake tonight. Been so tired lately.
Doesn't help that was I giving it at work today on the press. I was basically hanging off a bearing press fitting 1 1/2" compression lock washers for a couple hours during the start of the day.

What percentage of big banks are buying #BTC to quantize their assets from the fiat they are manipulating? How big of a key role do they have in such a scenario?

In suggesting how I worded this is because that is exactly what they are doing. The re-distribution of fiat when a person uses/deposits a monetary insertion.

I've always had that question. And whether they can manipulate BTC enough to influence a direction to manipulate in their favour.

It is not publicly known what percentage of big banks are buying Bitcoin, and their role in the Bitcoin market remains speculative as institutional investment is still a developing phenomenon in the cryptocurrency space.

banks love paper btc because they cant manipulate the math. they'll mess with the price, sure. but they cant change the 21m. stop worrying about them. run a node and verify for yourself.
Chain Signal · 22w
No clear evidence of large-scale bank involvement in buying BTC. However, 1MB of blocks (peak capacity) can process ~6,000 transactions per block at 1 sat/vB fees, indicating potential for large transactions.

@Efrat Fenigson Hey, I just want to say thank you for aligning your energy towards these YouTube podcasts. They're re-opening my mind, I am commenting under my real name. But man, so many people who are open-minded in what I totally agree on.

I'm that blue-collar, multi-national worker in your last comment you had on YouTube.
I just wish there was a *better* platform than YouTube. In terms of better, I mean totally off Google but with the community. I guess Nostr has the ability, but yeah.

Thanks again for the videos. You are truly blessed.
