I don't understand what you mean.

The previous management actively blocked politically dissenting views on a number of benign topics. Even banned Trump for nothing but disliking him.

Elon doesn't do that afaik, and he's just as entitled to have an opinion on anything as you are.

It's not about whether he has this or that opinion. Elon unleashed the worst misinformation and vile lies he could into the Twitter space. I do not intend to support such behavior. That's why I canceled my account there.
