Have you ever read something and realized that you've just read something really special?
Piranesi is one of those books.
I think it's one I will actually get a Folio copy of, because I think it is one of those few books that will keep being read and re-read into the future.

Smoke season is so depressing. Imagine growing up and losing weeks of your summer each year to this, and never knowing it's not normal
@nprofile1q... I mean, it was normal until
all the trees were cut down, and
fire suppression programs created a backlog of literal dead wood
there's also the beetle kill sure, but we need to kind of get through the crownfires that have become normal so that we can get back to the forest floor burning and accept that this is a regular part of this ecosystem

People wouldn’t be so mad about starlink if Elon didn’t own spacex

Like something out of a great c-drama, Zhang Youxia, Vice-Chairman of the Central Military Commission of China, supposedly wrote a secret letter to be released if he was arrested:

The Epoch Times is a HIGHLY SUSPECT source, but this would be a crazy thing to fabricate out of thin air.

#MastoAdmin for those of you in the US do you have any thoughts on how a potential loss of Section 230 immunity would impact you? I'm worried about the increased liability risk
#Section230
