Testing a pack of LR44 batteries I found in the street & apparently my Behringer MX602A's left channel bus died awhile ago & that's why I could never seem to crank my audio high enough for people on the other end?
If I turn all the pans hard left (1: XLR condenser 2: XLR dynamic 3: LR44 lav), the VU goes dark - hard right, they're back & loud into the outs? So... Gemini recommended I swap the RCAs for tape out to computer & set recording software to mono in. Don't need L/R channel panning from the mixer anymore, so that works well enough I guess.
Computer itself still outputs 1/8" stereo fine to the tape in RCAs in the proper left/right configuration & both VUs light up for that...
