we are in a recession. people think all is well because the s&p 500 is at ath. real estate has been rolled over for some time now, and construction is flat. these are just two of many indicators that historically precede recessions, and more are firing each month. we're simply in a euphoric/speculative phase. it will eventually end, but these things take a long time to play out. i believe bitcoin is sniffing it out.
