Egads - it's that time again - tomorrow evening (8/9 Sept, 20:00 NZST) is our monthly FOSS/open source/Libre catch up - we meet at https://meeting.iridescent.nz - all are welcome - we'd love to stress-test our video conferencing system, which should be able to handle 150+ simultaneous participants... We talk about any problems/questions those attending are interested in! We also have lots of informal presentations. We're delighted to have beginners come along, as there's so much to teach & learn!

I've been running LineageOS on various OnePlus phones until last year (when I got a new phone, arriving only the day before a trip home to the US, so no time to flash it with a new ROM)... but it works great. As long as you remember to use the "WifiCalling" or whatever it's called *before* you flash the new ROM, because it needs to add some vendor key to the firmware or something to work in future.

@nprofile1q... jeepers, Euan! I'd forgot that you went to MHS! Don't think I remember any of those names - I was there from '84-'88 and don't have lots of fond memories although I think it gave me a bit of life experience and appreciation of diversity that many others didn't develop... I was too focused on academics and not enough on living in those days... My life expanded quite a bit after high school, although I suspect much of the perspective I had after that came from those years.
