There’s virtually no chance people operating at this caliber “accidentally” relied on software generated pseudo-randomness, and anyone who doesn’t realize this immediately can’t have a single lesson’s worth of cryptographic comprehension.

Have said it already: relying on pseudo-random software code for randomness is not a mistake that’s reasonably attributable to human error for people operating at this level; this was done on purpose, and it’s superlatively regarded to give Coinkite the benefit of the doubt.
