Almost every issue we heard about began as a thought bubble from one of them, after which someone did a little bit of work spelling out what it meant. Most of them were primarily thought of in terms of tactics rather than their coherence with Liberal Values. Maybe they were averse to clear policies, because of Bill Shorten's experience but I think they were just lazy
