This thread is, well, you’ll just have to read it. I didn’t know anything about the Ulm 5. It’s tragic.

In short, five brave human being destroyed some Israeli weapon equipment. No harm to any humans. Just equipment. And they’re being treated like mass serial killers. Certainly with violations of human rights. All in the name of helping Palestinians (and beyond).

If you do read through, you’ll probably want to research more. I will be doing that today.

🚨 U.S. folks. There is one day left to comment on the FCC proposed rule to eradicate anonymity on all phone lines!

If they pass this rule government ID, physical address, and alternative phone number will be required for every new phone line. Anonymous phone lines and burner phones will cease to exist. That means no connected privacy via cellular at protests.

My experience with Airtable support today (have to use it for a client)…

1. Our plan costs $24. Saw we were billed $119.

2. Sent a support request.

3. Human replied and said they couldn’t help. Instead I had to talk to their support robot. 🤦🏻‍♂️

4. Fine. Followed the link and talked to the support robot.

5. I told the robot its human said it needed to give me a refund. And it did, without question. All $119 of it. Making this month free.

Take that, company who forces me to resolve my disputes with robots.

Love to see this. Pretty much no one should create a new account on .social. That server comprises far too much of the Mastodon account share, making Mastodon more centralized than it should be.

I've moved mastodon servers to a more local one. No reason to do it now other then a bit of spare time. mastodon.social was great. I joined in 2018 but I read it's good to share the load and spread accounts around servers so here I am. Ta da.

My friend’s band The Besmirchers is on tour and played in town tonight. They were so amazing. Punk af.

They’re on tour with a band called Fang. The singer comes out and says this:

“Let’s get something clear right now. If you’re a racist, you are my enemy.”

Then they play an anti-ICE song called “ICE Pick.” ✊🏻🔥

It’s badass to see all of these skinheads fighting loudly for equality.

By the way, the vocalist you featured here is an old friend from back in the day. His name is Lenny. He’s a sweet and friendly punker who is 67 years old. And, yeah, he’s not even slowing down.
