it doesn't always appear, for some reason your message didn't have one:

@nprofile1q... no you can't disable it, it is not "last seen" as on other platforms, since here you can't track other people's online status, that "last seen" only means "last time we received some email from that person"

if you for whatever reason don't want to see the last seen of other contacts, switch to Delta Chat then
