the sticker feature in ArcaneChat is still limited, in the future it should be easier to import sticker packs

at least until they are full-in sold on Delta Chat and start talking about they would like to change the app colors etc. ;)

@nprofile1q... ArcaneChat is just one of the few available chatmail client (see https://chatmail.at/clients)

while ArcaneChat might be more appealing than the Delta Chat client for some people and have a couple extra features and refinements, unless you are targeting people with Android devices, better recommend Delta Chat to them since that is the most widely available chatmail client

in the end it doesn't matter, you can use ArcaneChat while others use DC, etc. chatmail apps are interoperable

@nprofile1q... yeah, moving is always hard, one thing that seem to help people to convince others to migrate from Signal to Delta Chat is the in-chat mini-apps, ex. collaborative shopping lists in the family chat, to-do lists, collaborative text pads etc.

also in DC they can create and subscribe to channels, which is not possible in Signal

another point is the good multi-device support and easy device migration, in Singal more than one person has lost all their data while migrating

@nprofile1q... in ArcaneChat and Delta Chat you can star a message, just forward it to your "Saved Messages" chat to bookmark it, then the message will have a small bookmark icon in the chat bubble and you will be able to jump to the "stared" message from your Saved Messages list

@nprofile1q... Delta Chat for Android (and hence also ArcaneChat) got recently an improvement that calls would survive and reconnect even if you turn off the wifi for some seconds or switch between networks

but probably more work needs to be done reducing video quality to optimize for slow / low bandwidth connections, audio calls should work very OK tho
