@Grace and Truth

I build open-source, privacy-focused apps for anyone whose data is not for sale.
I use AI tools to write the code, but do not include surveillance or invasive permissions. My apps are designed to work across platforms, making the switch to Linux phones easier when they're more available.

(I'm a beginner in this, learning as I go. I'll start with publishing Flutter apps on Codeberg and Zapstore.)

Most of the videos of Bitcoin being used in commerce in backwater places I see involve a phone with a shitty wallet interface in it. This setup is kinda bad as it has way too many requirements: - a p...

We can assume everyone has a phone, and that app can be built, but what stops the employee from opening their own lightning wallet instead of the business' app to receive the payment?
A physical device helps make this harder, or something integrated with their POS system or cash register.
I hear Coinos does a good job.

Thank you. The whole family is excited! We have a naming dilemma though. We are not gelling with the name the rescue gave her. 🤔

Appreciate you just reading it 🤗 .. I wrote it above it 10 years ago, but when I reread it I realised it was even more relevant to me now then it was then. I have to keep reminding myself that i get to choose, that i don’t have to wait for someone else to fix me or tell me what to do.. Onwar...

GM Nostr. I need some AI knowledge from you if you could please read my use case, and see if it makes sense. I am trying to build agents for a legacy business that is highly adverse to using AI due t...

If they don't want AI touching their data, they don't want AI touching their data.
Sounds like a boundary worth respecting.
What are the tasks you want AI to do, and can they be done in a different way? What would the solution have been three years ago?
There are powerful tools for accessing SQL data, cleaning it, creating custom reports, etc., and setting them up well might be more worthwhile.
If they're willing, maybe AI could be used to help configure those systems in the setup phase, without ever going near their data or becoming a permanent piece of the puzzle?

I understand that's not strictly what you're asking, on whether your setup is airgapped enough. I guess my non-expert opinion is no, it still goes against what the business wants.

I am being respectful by encrypting their data and allowing them to do things with AI at 100x the efficiency of SQL reports and Excel. Ultimately, yes it is their decision. I am trying to help them stay ahead in the fiat game vs. getting further behind by not adopting more powerful tools.

I love that sound! Super cool track as well 🎶
