I build open-source, privacy-focused apps for anyone whose data is not for sale.
I use AI tools to write the code, but do not include surveillance or invasive permissions. My apps are designed to work across platforms, making the switch to Linux phones easier when they're more available.

(I'm a beginner in this, learning as I go. I'll start with publishing Flutter apps on Codeberg and Zapstore.)

A lot of honest bitcoiners getting thrown under the bus for recommending coldcard, it ain't right, it ain't tight Tbh I feel like it's more the devs (like me) who never verified anything that is more...

Yes. Accepting sponsorship from a company/product you recommend and believe to be the best is not the same as being aware of a backdoor and not doing anything about it.

It's always easy to point fingers, notice red flags and connect dots after the fact about who should have done what, and still not be diligent in things that haven't become crises yet.

Thank you! Hope you get to try it!

Philosophical reflections incoming: A famous anarchist once said "privacy is not a right, it must be taken". There's also the more catchy "privacy is a human fight". You should look at bitcoin owners...

Living life a bit and actually buying the things you need is helpful.
If you don't own chairs because you've been putting absolutely everything into savings, and that savings does get lost, it's quite different from being set up in life with the non-monetary things that are important to you (food, shelter, instruments, tools, learning, transportation... whatever those are for you).

Agreed but there's something about your example, 'chairs', that made me chuckle 😄

This is somewhat related, but the idea is "invest in yourself", not just Bitcoin. BTC is money, and at the end of the day money is just a tool for accomplishing things in the world. When Bitcoin is your whole identity, and that gets stolen... That sucks. Have "something else."

If it ain't one thing it's another... Sorry nostr, but I will be venting some negativity here. Skip it if you don't want that in your life, I understand. I was fortunate enough not to have my life sa...

A close friend of mine moved from the big city to a smaller town, and was able to cut certain medications in half, just from the difference in stress. Even in better times without the events you're describing, the driving and the pace of life was very different.
I like finding options that make sense whichever way life goes. It sounds like the city you're in isn't home anymore.
Praying you'll find a good solution, prepared for your family when you need it. And for an end to the insane brokenness brought by these drugs flooding our streets.

Thank you. I know I'll find a place of greater peace soon enough, just a little longer.

Agreed. Never heard anything negative about him.
