Thank you! It is so exhausting being expected to explain to nearly everyone that my disabilities do in fact disable me.

In addition, most of the difficulties I experience in my day to day are the result of having to deal with other people, often because they "help" me without my consent. If they just believed me, as you say, when I tell them I don't want / need their help, that alone would be huge. If I do accept their help, they need to help in the way that I ask, otherwise they are not a help but a hindrance.

Please just believe us. That would solve so many of our problems.

Too many humans assume herbivore = safe. A bison will end a person if it wants to. Moose are the same way. They both know how big and powerful they are and have no patience for humans. Does that big pink hippo look friendly? It will kill you faster than any carnivore.

At least with a carnivore, you know where you stand.

I had similar feelings when it was Luke's time. Towards the end, most of what came out of him was blood, which was awful. It made it so obvious that I made the right call, even if I will always have some regrets in letting my best friend go.

It's hard when the right decision hurts. You have my sympathy.

Good. I loathe the touch screen in my car. I don't dare touch the radio while driving because I have to take my eyes off the road. With physical buttons, I can feel my way around.

Sadly, I know far too many people who let McDonald's have all of the information on their phone for 30 cents off a Big Mac.

In fairness, the threat neutralized itself, but I absolutely agree that this is deceptive wording.

What's worse is a business is private property. They do not have to allow people to carry. They can trespass them from the premises, but they won't because that might offend someone. 🙄
