Getting thoroughly annoyed at people expecting me to read their mind to figure out the intention behind what they said. I will not get it. Explain it to me. Explain it to me like I'm a 5 year old. Otherwise I will probably assume, get it wrong, and piss you way off. Either tell me what you mean or forfeit your right to get mad at me when I unavoidably assume the wrong thing. Thank you for reading my rant.

A random question for blind people mainly, but really for anyone comfortable. What is your mental landscape like? What I mean by that is how do you picture things? Visual imagery? More sensory based? Nothing at all? Something else? I'm curious because even though I'm blind my mental landscape is very visual, I think in pictures, maps, recreations of places/objects/ETC in my head in a very visual way, which from what I've heard doesn't seem that common in the blind community. But maybe I'm wrong, I'd be really curious on thoughts here if you all are comfortable.

Also. I know many people have said this before, but I'm going to say it again. Just because someone has it worse doesn't mean someone isn't allowed to be stressed out or have struggles. Just because there's homelessness or poverty or whatever is "worse" doesn't mean someone's not allowed to be stressed out about their own "smaller" problems. Yes. These things are awful. Yes there are bad things happening. But the existence of these bad things *does not* invalidate other, more "trivial" issues. People's problems are people's problems no matter how trivial they seem to you. If a person is struggling, maybe don't tell them their feelings aren't reasonable because people are dealing with worse. Struggling. Is not. A competition. Struggling. Is not. Something to quantify and rank. Struggles are struggles. Everyone's life experience is different. How about have some decency and compassion and support everyone through whatever is bothering them. Fuck.

Your regular reminder that you don't need to be trans, nonbinary, or otherwise not cis to choose a new name or set of pronouns for yourself. You have the right to identify however you feel most valid. Be supportive of those around you and their choices, be gentle with yourself, and above all, be kind to everyone including you. I'm currently mad because I can't drive. If I could drive, I could just go into town and shop for myself. But noooo, I can't do that! A sighted person in my house forgot to tell me they were going somewhere, and now I don't have a few things I would really like to have, and I will not have more by tomorrow. I hate being a stupid blindy. And before anyone says get groceries delivered, we can't, nobody delivers to where we live.
