I understand people’s desire to help others.

Calling 911 after driving by a person laying on the sidewalk at an underpass, and saying you could not tell if they were breathing, is not helping.

If you really care, stop and check before having Fire, Police, and EMS come lights and sirens.

Last night my din was able to meet up with his mother after the game. (They won 40 to 3)

For perspective he is 16 and she is 6 foot.

Playing D&D tonight with an Army Combat Engineer who was playing a wizard.
Every encounter she would throw out caltrops, or grease, or area effects that controlled movement.
This helped us beat up all attacking monsters.
Movement control was how she thought.

25 years ago we lost a good man.

Twenty five years ago today (a Sunday) my boss called me at home to cancel our planed trip to NYC to install three more servers in the co-location site three blocks from the WTC because he was sick.

We pushed it back to Thursday the 13th and would work through the weekend.

And I’m pissed at the vagrants near my house.
Last night while I’m at work, my son’s catalyst converter was stolen from his parked car in our driveway.
Video is not clear however I recognized the jacket as just like the one my last call of overdose three blocks away in the squatter house.
