I've been trying a bunch of web based RSS readers (freshRSS, yarr, commaFeed) and they're not as nice to use a Feedbin! But Feedbin is $100/yr :(
I like yarr the most though, nice default theme, the keyboard shortcuts work properly (even though my muscle memory isn't used to them) and very lightweight on the server
hypothetical question - let's say I want to use a public computer (library for example) and want to access a website (e.g: RSS reader, notes) at home that's normally protected by tailscale - how would one go about doing this? i can't install the tailscale client on a public computer
oh yeah, i resigned from assembly four yesterday, gave em 4 weeks notice - bittersweet, but I enjoy writing the sizzle too much and struggling to do both at once, maybe I'll end up back at A4 again one day, it's a good place to work
Very annoying that there's no way to dismiss this persistent banner on the web version of Gmail on a de-Google'd Android phone in Firefox (I know, don't use Gmail, but I still check it every now and then because I've had the damn account for so long)
1Password, ProtonPass, Bitwarden/Vaultwarden, the multiple versions of KeePass - is there a cross platform password manager I'm missing? LastPass isn't even worth looking at is it?
if there's any mastodon followers who are on a free trial of the sizzle and would like to be a paid subscriber - here's a coupon to get 20% off: MASTOEOFY - it expires july 1st at 12:01am
