I was actually surprised they didn't recognize troglodytes (stinky lizards) and yellow mold (destroys everything that touches it), despite both being experienced players

The big treasure turned out to be a drop from the random encounter (the spiders). These had a cube of force from one of their previous victims.

Glimmermark session 48: they pulled the connection card to get into the sewers of the Keep again, trudged around a bit there, then went exploring in the cave system underneath. They found one troglodyte (but didn't recognize it as such), destroyed an undead monstrosity, then got attacked by spiders while trying to squeeze through a narrow opening. They also encountered a few more insects and yellow mold, before leaving through a secret escape route someone had dug from the keep's prison

Huh... what? 500.000 developers? And you have an annual revenue of 120 million dollars? So every developer makes you 24 bucks per year on average? That doesn't sound like a sustainable business ...
