@Fabio Manganiello It's like quiting use of e-mail because too many folks use Gmail... Please don't quit Fediverse - there are plenty of people on small instances and even single-user setups.

You already self-host, so those who want to block or mute you - can easily do that. And those who want to hear you - just as easily too.

Unless of course, for whatever reasons, you need metrics for your reach :blobcatshrug:

But Fediverse was never about metrics, was it not?

Since some requests came, I tried to give another attempt of including Bouncing Logo - useless app recreating iconic :dvd: screensaver - into :google: Play store.

Last attempt ended up with developer account being banned for not pushing updates frequently enough. Now rejection reason is even more hillarious:

Your app contains very little content and does not provide engaging user experience.

I'm wondering would it help if I wasn't publishing it as open source app and would have included some ads... :blobcatthinkowo:

If you are a decent fediversian, you always add Alt text to shared image, but why even attach such image? Unless you want to prove someone posted this, but then again - is image (that can be easily drawn) an enough proof?

Stop sharing text as image - use text :blobcatbaguettehero: Markdown-enabled instances can utilize > and enable text formatting as a quote, making it even more appealing.

Stop sharing text as image.

Text is searchable, it consumes less space and bandwidth to transmit, is rendered in reader's chosen font, is more accessible. Only benefits :blobcatcheer:
