They seem to last very long. Battery failures are rare especially on Model 3s. It seems they just degrade, and they don't seem to fall below 70% total capacity. Standard range + models have the LFP battery chemistry (lithium iron phosphate, no cobalt or nickel), which is even more durable. I would bet the vast majority of cars will have their original batteries last far beyond 300k miles. Maybe not in colder climates, but I'm in the PNW, which is fairly temperate.
