2025 was a breakout year for Blitz. ⚡️

We delivered powerful new ways to use Bitcoin:

• Launched Blitz Wallet on the iOS and Android App Stores after two years of development

• Passed to 4,000+ users

• Introduced the first in-app, self-custodial Bitcoin gifting experience—complete with shareable links and QR codes, refundability if unclaimed, notes, and built-in gift management

• Added flexible gift expiration options (up to 180 days)

• Made privacy the default, keeping balances and transactions hidden from public explorers

• Expanded the platform with Rootstock support

• Rolled out instant contact payments, payment requests, and gift cards

• Streamlined onboarding to get new users from zero to first payment in under 30 seconds

• Launched the Blitz recovery platform

• Began building the Blitz web app

The issue occurs because we currently perform a basic check based on username to determine whether it’s the same account. This didn’t account for the fact that the same username can be used across multiple apps. This will be fixed in the next update.

We just hit 4,000 users 🎉

It took:

• 130 days to reach 4,000
