even worse than the node client centralization I think is the miner centralization, since they are the ones who just rejected the soft fork unilaterally.
If you can print money to control corporations which can collude under bribes and coercion to control Bitcoin, then you don't really have anything but fiat.
So yeah, maybe Datum can decentralize mining and we can try again. I agree more competing node clients is better but I think that Fiat can buy most of them and their devs.
