I understand that people working on XMPP since ages are upset by the success of Element and Matrix that could have been XMPP if there were the same amounts of venture capital. And I think it‘s ok to criticize Matrix and Element because they have done some wrong things. Nevertheless, they are there and going to stay and that‘s fine. Probably both will have their own use cases.

@nprofile1q... @nprofile1q... Naja, die Arbeit wird gerade von Ehrenamtlichen gemacht. Als ITler weißt du, wie viele Gelder du sammeln musst, um eine einzige Person anzustellen. Meine Einschätzung ist, dass Hardware- und Zeitspenden gerade ein gangbarer Weg wären.

Ok, #DejaDup failed quite some times now as well. It seems anything with that gvfs network layer is interrupting the network connection. That's a little bit annoying…
