Cool! Is the a Nip for it?
SIGit profile picture
We'd be happy to propose a NIP if there is serious demand for it

Focus is on building out the product first

Our next launch will include a core TS library, using state machines, powering both the web front end and a terminal CLI. Also introducing a "template" feature.

Features:

- define a SIGit (eg pdf with counterparties and mark types / coordinates) on web, optionally sign with CLI
- OTS
- offline mode
- everything based on relays + blossom

Constrained by budget (we had contribitions from Cellar Social and Angor, rejected twice by opensats) but making steady progress

Anyone have success with self hosted doc signing? Documenso is unusable for me. Also I dont think sigit is an option because that requires an npub.
SIGit profile picture
We have plans for email - such that the user does not realise they have an npub, unless they export, and in a way that means we can't rug

We are just under-resourced for finishing the build, currently, especially with the focus being on the release of the CLI / typescript library (so others can integrate sigit in their apps). We are very close to being able to start a sigit on web, and finish on CLI.

For immediate self hosting you could consider docuseal.

Thanks for the info! I'm actually very excited about the next sigit update. Will keep an eye on it for future use.

Your npub could be used to sign legal documents one day and it would be better than Docusign for everyone involved

The challenge is to build a flow that protects both content and metadata, works both online and offline, and is redundant across multiple relays / blossom servers

We have released an MVP but the logic is tied to sigit.io

We are close to the next release in which the logic is encapsulated in state machines and will work seamlessly across clients (encryption, OTS, retries, support for various mark types in pdfs, template agreements, etc)

## BudaBit Demo Day application
### Title: SIGit CLI

Pitch:
We are rebuilding SIGit to use state machines, bringing the core logic into a standalone library, such that it can easily be used by other projects and clients.

The first client to be released with the new library will be the SIGit CLI, and will be debuted at the Budabit Club event.

The next development chapter for SIGit will be the creation of an NPM module to allow others to build SIGits into their tools and applications

As part of this we will be ripping out NDK and replacing with AppleSauce

We are also planning to encapsulate all the logic into State Machines - this will significantly improve stability, usability, and maintainability.

We'd like to thank all of the donors who have supported us so far!

Last month we scored a podium finish at the Baltic Honeybadger 2025 Hackathon for @SIGit, sponsored by @Angor and with funds distributed through @Geyser

Why do you need SIGit? It's simple... legacy providers like docusign store all your files centrally, unencrypted and at risk of being hacked. And to top it off they are advertising the use of AI to scan documents. All this leaves users of centralised contract signing platforms at risk of nefarious actions, of privacy being eroded and of a hostile change in regulatory or government policy leaving you unable to protect your business relationships.

Try us out today at sigit.io

And a huge congrats to the other winners! BlindBit Suite, Receipt Cash and Git Futz

Wrong. If you read the legislation on digital signatures, the key must be something the "user can control"

Most solutions use SMS and email, neither of which produces a a signature, and neither of which are under the control of the user

We believe 99% of digital signing solutions are not compliant

We understand your point though, that corporates have more trust in the perceived "legal value" of the cert authorities

We plan to address this point more eloquently as we build out

Oh jesus!

Did you know that almost every commercial document signing solution makes your agreement available to third parties?

With records in a database that can be easily modified?

With SIGit, your documents are encrypted in the browser, and are only accessible to named counterparties.

We use Blossom for data storage, Nostr for secure identity and metadata signing, and OTS for timestamping on Bitcoin.

SIGit is available now, and we'd love your feedback!

Nice too see useful "other stuff", I also figured out that all solutions for digital signing were garbage, unsecured, closed garden.
