France smashed all the records too, this year alone has shifted the rolling average temperature by over 2°C in some places, it's been so hot, and so dry, so consistently...

And that follows June which broke all the records too.

Most of the comments are just throw away comments you get used to that say nothing and aren't backed up with reality. Some are just plain lies.

I wonder how many are bots, how many are trolls and how many are morons?

@nprofile1q... wish my BP was low, I have to take meds to keep on top of them. My recently connected biological family all have high BP and my father has developed vascular dementia, from decades of high BP, so I need to take good care of my BP.

No caffeine, no salt, plenty of exercise, meds, and I need to lose 7-8 kg...

Just had a nice 42 km bike ride though and this summer I've been doing about 25 km per day each morning too.

@nprofile1q... many central banks have been making these kinds of comments for some time but the media ignores them and so politicians feel emboldened to ignore them too.

I believe the insurance industry has said for some time that premiums will have to rise to cover short term issues, yet no one seems to react.

It's like living in a cheap disaster film where everyone ignores reality until everything explodes in their face.

@nprofile1q... @nprofile1q... I know some apps that rely on specific aspects of Xorg that Wayland hasn't yet implemented or won't implement are left high and dry.

It's a bind, but no one seems to want to work seriously on Xorg anymore, and there are seriously broken bits in there. I'm not claiming Wayland is massively better but it gets more developer attention and doesn't try to do as much so it should be better now or very soon for most people.
