@nprofile1q... @nprofile1q... Paris used to be paper ticket based and worked very well. Then they went electronic only, the apps are a pain and I never got the NFC on my phone to work with a gate or you buy a card and then fart about topping it up, and again that wasn't super reliable.

Trains are a mess too, as there are different sites and apps for same fricking company... You can only do certain things on the TER platform for example even though it looks like you can on the SNCF site/app but you can't!

@nprofile1q... I have two climber's knives, not that ever did climbing. The red one was a gift, which I thought I'd lost so I bought a black one. On my last day in California I was saying goodbye and checking my stuff and it turned up... Spooky, my housemate thought it was his, so picked it up but his was in the Jeep all along. It had spent 3 years unused in his bedside table.

KMail has always been okay, not perfect and prone to periods of instability.

Eudora wasn't perfect but the search was amazingly fast, and you could find things.

In most cases I don't really want a fancy email client, just one that works and doesn't try to do too many things.

People say Claws is good but I've not used it.

@nprofile1q... I run kmail on Debian 13 stable at the moment but I'm always keen to see alternative email clients as they appear. Never found anything as good as Eudora of old. Kmail isn't perfect but it's better than Thunderbird or Evolution in my opinion, how does yours differ from the alternatives?
