Got rid of the playpen and got a ibc tote and moved them out to the shed. Much needed 👌

Upgraded their waterer to this. Won’t hardly have to change it.

Next process is to upgrade the crate setup. Been using a kids playpen. The heat plate took too much room in the 27gallon totes. Looking to buy a 300gallon ibc tote and moving them out to the shed.

Don’t recommend this. 0/10 gets dirty too easily. They like walking over it. Has to be changed at least 3 times a day and it’s not easy to move around without spilling.

Almost a week in and the flock is getting along well. Only issue so far is one duck with slay leg that I need to address. Other than that seems like some happy and messy birds. Gunna be working on upgrading their brother setup to an ibc tote this weekend

Adding 4 Isa Brown chicks to the flock. Done at 16 pullets and 4 ducklings.
