Agreed. I use a #VPN all the time to protect me from the tracking and profiling that #BigTech invented.

Bugger. The #UK government just said it's going to go for a full ban on #socialmedia for under 16s. So begins the slide to authoritarianism.

How can you know an API is being abused?
Also: the focus seems to be on 3rd party trackers. What about 1st party? The examples given are shops, but we are more worried about the #bigtech companies. How to block them? e.g.Google has fully switched to Fingerprinting.

Same goes for exposing the GPU.
That would go some way to reducing the fingerprinting.
For everyone else: imo this is why you should always use a VPN - IP address cuts to the chase for the creepy surveillance economy (they don't need to try so hard with fingerprinting if they have that)

@nprofile1q... forgive my ignorance but will it ever be possible to install extensions in Vivaldi mobile, like we can in Firefox-based mobile browsers?
I know your ad+tracking blocker is pretty good, but it's a shame not to be able to also bust out Privacy Badger or Ublock Origin on mobile.
