Most people do not put much thought into the purpose and meaning of life or even in the meaning of words. Most of us simply mock others without thinking for ourselves, being spell-bound.
But many songs with lyrics contain a meaning that many do not recognize. Even if the DJ is sleep-walking through his job, the lyric writers often veil the true meaning of their song behind the words. Their idea of "house" and "fire" could be different from what the casual listener thinks.

The radio station I was listening to just followed "Our House" by Madness with "Burning Down the House" by Talking Heads and there's no way that was a coincidence. 😆

You observe the laws of physics at work, with the movements of the sun, earth, and moon, and do you think that is sufficient to explain "what caused it"?
What caused it was the Lawgiver, the Creator Who placed everything in the entire creation in its order, rotating like an intricate clock, telling you the time.
As He said, "let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years...."
And yes, it is a time of#war and judgment.
