This is the view from our back porch. I could just sit there and take in whatever the nature has to offer. It’s easy to put the world behind, and that’s what I wanted when we decided to leave New York and move to the Land of Enchantment. This world is crazier than ever and so much has happened. Change is going to come, whether we’re ready or not. But this view still puts my mind at ease, and I’m holding on to that tranquility it selflessly continues to offer..

In need of a shirt that would match the joyful Lunar New Year, I found this forgotten pinkish shirt in the drawer two days ago. Come to think of it, I wonder why I ever bought this, as right now I don’t particularly care for it that much. Perhaps my aesthetic has changed, or I have outgrown that color. Although it wouldn’t have been my first choice, I’m glad it still fit..

I’m sad to share with you that the egg in the nest I found hidden in the bush right outside of our dining room window is gone.. We don’t know what happened although I thought I heard some birds’ frantic chirping earlier today..

The nest looks fine - untouched by any other living creature. But the egg is no longer there..
