After a chat with a friend I keep thinking a lot about we can shift all of this here from "parasocial media" to actually "social media". I think parasociality is a core part of a lot of the structural harms internet platforms can have.

@Moses Izumi @nprofile1q... he doesn't make an ideological argument because he is very tech positive. His whole stick is "look what they done to the computer". He sees "AI" as a deformed form of tech that taints the computer instead of trying to see it as part of a long history.

I don't know if it's fair to criticize him for it, it's not how he thinks about the world. Personally I think some of his digging through numbers is great but he needs an editor that tells him to get to the point and cut all those posts down by 50%.

I'm a decent cook but when I am home alone cooking something for myself is a challenge. I like cooking but mostly for others.
