How does the guy dare call that "revenue"? LOL Mike and the all the others "bitcoin companies" that offer yield products will either be:
a) Achille's heel that will help the US control the biggest amount of BTC and hence keep their dollar dominance while subyugating the world forever, or
b) the largest Ponzi in history, sending us back to the 20s, and not recovering until we're anyhow with dementia at the asylum
Everything would have been so fucking simple. Buy. Hodl. Transact. Spend less than you make. Don't touch leverage. Live life.
Maybe Bitcoin fixes nothing at a larger scale. Human greed will always stay in the way.

IMHO the value added of being an impartial news provider is very low. There are plenty of ways to set that up for free and with little effort by yourself.
Monetization of online content typically comes from subscriptions (which are only viable if you are an expert on a specific domain) and from ads (which is something people are willing to put up with because they are interested in what you has to say, because again, you are an expert on a specific domain)
