I feel like there will soon be a huge market for tech that help business build agent-browsable databases (for inventory, services, FAQs, etc).

As well as tech to collect feedback from customers via the customers' agents.

Who's out there thinking about this from a freedom tech perspective I should follow?

You don’t think generic AIs will already create that if you upload a simple stock count? Those databases will probably be simple and standardized for all agents so I’m imaging they can create it too. Unless you’re saying most smaller businesses won’t even know the need to, or feel like dea...

How do you think about the limits of what Nostr can and can't be used for?

For instance, if I wanted to set up local and used bookstores with the ability to publish their inventory, so that anyone in the area could search one platform (or ask their agent) to find a book near them, would Nostr be a good use case for that? What are the primary constraints to consider?

Yeah, Nostr is a solid fit for this. Each book becomes a replaceable event you publish under your own key, you own the data, no platform fees and single letter tags, genre, location are indexed so anyone or any agent can filter by them natively. relays only do exact match tag filtering, so more de...

Nostr can't save your local bookstore from Bezos' stranglehold on publishing.

Ah, sorry I missed this one when you posted it. I think this is an awesome Nostr use case. If you’re charging for the service, you might want to consider running your own relay to provide data storage and increased reliability. The trick is making the UX really solid and also overcoming the onboar...
