Apple now has to open up its encryption, but only to the most hostile-to-freedom unelected governing body on earth? Allowing EU dictators access to everyone's Apple-based data? Is this making Apple open-source? Of course it isn't. How does this help anyone other than EU dictators? There will never be anything 'free' or 'open source' about Apple - JUST like the EU.
