Energy is currently finite per location so your equation isn’t true today. Maybe one day though.
Not defending AI, but all large loads on grid will have to be responsive to retail demand when demand > supply thus those large loads will make electricity cheaper for retail.
Also most new data centers are building generation off the grid, so doesn’t affect utility pricing.
