When the school year settles down, I might sew another leotard or perhaps try sewing a ballet skirt. This pattern was recommended to me on the Sewcial app.

@nprofile1q... I have tried a couple of other patterns for jersey tops but I think I prefer this one from Jalie 😄 Their leotard patterns are also good; I just need to practise some more…

Charity shops around here sadly don’t really have fabric, but my stash is plenty full 😄 I lost weight in the previous year so many of my circle skirts have a safety pin in the waistline now. I will be sewing a new one soon so it will be a slight guessing game how much to make it smaller because weight can fluctuate…

I also want to practice sewing more leotards. I make one fairly successful a while back but it needs some tweaking.

@nprofile1q... Fabric temptation is difficult to defeat 😄 but I still think that we save money buy sewing our own clothes. Most of my wardrobe is me-made … which is why I had to sew lots of basic items this summer. I hadn’t replenished my wardrobe for too long and items were wearing out - literally!
