No idea how you manage so much building, even while you are travelling to Amsterdam, but it's inspiring to see.

Jason Lowery's recent X posts on BTC being used as protection against AI attacks (and information slop) have all been taken down.

This is great used with syncthing.

Desktop operating systems seem to be going in two different directions for the self-sovereign individual.

On one team, we have Omarchy (@Nathan Day and even the great @Gigi has hinted he uses it), with its easy personalisation and integrated AI harnesses.

On the other, we have Qubes OS (for the true privacy folks like @Max, who has written articles on it).

These OSs seem at odds with each other with the classic convenience/privacy trade-off.

- Qubes would seem like the natural Nostriches choice; but,

- Omarchy presents SO much convenience for devs, but potential for making bad privacy mistakes (indeed I tried it and cursed myself for accidentally allowing Claude access to a private file on my laptop).

Anyone want to share thoughts on what OS is best for a laptop that is going to be used for dev work on sovereign projects? And if you use Omarchy, how you ensure privacy.
