Mostly because Nostr has no Game Theory, there are no incentives for any of the players to play fair. (Unlike Bitcoin).

Most of what I saw on my feed just made me angry. I don’t sit well with “extremism” be it religious or political. Unfollowing didn’t help, reposts and “ghost following” made the experience tedious.

Major players in this space are toxic fucks, misleading their users. (Publicly boast about the power of V4V all while signing investment contracts in private)

I keep seeing liars and value signalers being rewarded with attention and zaps. Manipulators are having a blast on Nostr.

The implementation of WoT doesn’t seem to do much beside created echo chambers.

Stemstr died, because of lack of consideration towards their development, all while shitfluencers kept dropping its name as an example of diversity of offerings on Nostr.

No media game, in a time where media rules.

All in all I’d say that I perceive the negative sides of society being amplified in here.
