Does anyone have experience working with Walnut or have an opinion on the use of sapwood in this table?

I am getting a table made for the dining room, and the carpenter said he had some great planks to use. The sapwood adds a bit more contrast than I originally envisioned for a walnut table. Was hoping to get any feedback from #Nostr.

Those with gadgets are having a bad time now. Are any of them trustworthy? We don’t know, and Customer Service can’t say, because no Customer Service. If Bitcoin is to scale, we need reliable and simple custody. After this disaster of a week, the imperfect ETFs are winning by a mile.
