A shading study done in graphite. This was more difficult than I thought I was going to be.

I used reference and it only took me two hours.
I had this vague silly idea that reference is for people who don't want to put in the effort. It turns out that if you want to draw something you should study it first.
And reference pictures also make the whole art process less of a headache and more enjoyable.

Trying my hand at stickfigure animation. My sister designed this character.
The hardest thing with stickfigures is remembering which arm is left and right. The sound design was a fun challenge as well.
