@nprofile1q... as a long time anxiety sufferer this sounds like an anxiety attack to me. I saw you said things aren’t particularly stressful right now, but the annoying thing with anxiety is it can happen anyway. It’s more likely when stressed but not exclusive to it.
Is Dwarf Fortress the first game that someone has worked on endlessly? Perhaps the first video game that’s someone’s “life’s work”?
I always prefer paying for media, but if all the services force me to scan my face/ID to listen to a song I will absolutely resort to piracy. This is crazy.

@nprofile1q... coming from web dev I found Godot’s text flowing quite limiting. I know web browsers are slow and use a ton of memory, but they have so many great features. At least I’m used to Godot’s limitations now.

Game Changer is one of my top shows of all time. I’ve realized my favorite thing is when puzzles and challenges are mixed with comedy. My top video games also follow this format.
I used to go to the movie theatre often, but I think I’m just about done with it. Today there were multiple people using their phones at full brightness, people were talking and the theatre was freezing cold. They also show you several ads before the trailers and then a bonus ad after… and the tickets were $25!
I recently applied for a Switch developer kit. In my application I pointed out all the positive coverage Roottrees got, including our 87 on Metacritic and overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam. They denied my application today, with no reason given!
