Yeah it’s ridiculous. Laws are different upstate so you have to avoid the city if you’re traveling from upstate to Long Island or Jersey. They don’t give a shit.

Careful bringing guns into New Jersey, if you live here you're not even allowed to have your gun locked in the trunk of your car unless you're going from a gun store to your home, or on the way to the range. You'll get into trouble otherwise.

The whole city smells of piss and car exhaust fumes! It's not limited to just one borough. I wouldn't want to stay there for more than a week regardless of where I'm staying.
