If you make people store more and more junk less people run nodes, if less people run nodes bitcoin centralizes, if bitcoin centralizes you lose all its guarantees of permisionless and scarce, if you lose permission less and scarce number doesn't go up.

Everybody is acting like Bip 110 lost and the real Bitcoin won. I'll agree 110 lost, but what did Bitcoin win? Does anyone feel more compelled to run a node after this? Does anyone think there will be less spam, scams, and kiddie porn shoved into the block chain in the future? Enjoy the phyrric victory.

Who cares what you support, you will either stop running a node or you will host all the spam, scams, and child porn that miners send your way. 110ers have certainly lost, but no one else won either. There will be no olive branches of spam reduction, the devs will be emboldened with new ways to add spam to the chain, and plebs will lose their desire to run nodes because your vote doesn't mean shit and the network treats you like a captured resource to be exploited without recompense.

Taproot didn't have consensus from nodes. V30 didn't have consensus from nodes. Bitcoin belongs to tranny econonomic podcasters, sellout financial engineers, and spammy devs with shitcoin side projects. 110ers might have been delusional, but the delusion was the belief that the plebs mattered.
