Some scientific journals only accept references with DOIs, it is the case of the Journal of Open Source Software for example (a common place to publish scientific software).

So if your research group is maintaining scientific software and you would like that people cite it, if you don't already have a paper for this purpose, think of (1) creating a DOI for your software and (2) making it available. For step (1): if you are using GitHub, there is a Zenodo integration that allows to automatically archive every version released and create a DOI for them: https://docs.github.com/en/repositories/archiving-a-github-repository/referencing-and-citing-content

Je pose la question ici à tout hasard : ma petite sœur, en thèse de musicologie, participe à l'organisation d'un colloque dont les communications se feront en français, allemand et anglais, et cherche une solution pour de l'interprétation simultanée du français et de l'allemand vers l'anglais. Je lui ai demandé quel budget elle avait pour l'interprétation, elle m'a dit « pas ». J'imagine donc que ça s'oriente vers des outils logiciels (libres ?). Est-ce que vous auriez des idées pour elle ?
