hit 2 years driving experience so now under malaysian law I can convert my probationary drivers license into a competent driver license.
that means I can get accumulate 40 points before 6 month suspension now, as opposed to 20 points resulting in a 12 months suspension on the probationary one.
40 points is like 4 DUIs, or 10 times of speeding 40kmh over. and its not like there is a lot of enforcement, I got pulled over exactly once in 2 years of driving in KL.
I cannot imagine what kind of a menace you need to be to actually get your license suspended here
