I can see how Odell doesn't want to do that all the time with cashiers. He talks about it all day and everything he's working on is related to it. I on the other hand am alone and dying to talk to people about it. I've just about almost maybe orange pilled my gf finally and am trying to ride the fine line of sounding nuts to friends and family. I do have some friends that are curious and am planning to start a meetup group in the next few weeks.

Great rip! I listened to this little late since I was traveling and I’m trying to catch up. Not just on podcasts, but all the technology you’re talking about here and on RHR, etc. I am only about 15 months into this whole Bitcoin/freedom tech rabbit hole and it is a bit overwhelming for an GenXr who’s busy learning how to get out of the fiat world while working a full time fiat job.

In regard to the friction you feel when checking out and not wanting to have a conversation with the barista, I got you… I’m trying to orange pill everyone I can so I actually ask every single cashier if they take bitcoin just to plant the seed and every now and then a conversation is spawned.

Yes, but after reading all the responses to this, I agree with most of them. More dirt will probably come out as to why these people visited, but maybe by chance some only went and didn't get tricked? (hopefully)
We don't need any more neg press, so that sucks.
The funny thing is that my real Bitcoin journey can be credited to Whitney Webb... My gf sent me a link of her talking about her book and after searching some more of her interviews, I landed on the one where she was on TFTC - and have been learning and stacking as much as I can since! This too shall pass... I appreciate you and all the
podcasters/authors/analysts in this space. I know that good will prevail! 👊
