I am in the airbnb since thursday evening and everything starts to slowly work out.

The water and air here in Appenzellerland (Switzerland) might literally have healing capabilities. I still wake up with phantosmia in the nights, but rinsing the nose with water from here feels way better and it gets rid of the phantosmia much more reliable!

You think being on a small email provider to support email decentralization would be fairly simple. But it sucks when you are moving and you dont receive important mails from another small email provider, because the legit small providers block each other for "spam protection" 🤦‍♀️. Had to call the rental contact and ask for the info in the missing mails, luckily phone calls still are allowed nowadays 😌.

I went with flac and created a selfhosted home server music streaming over the past years. Unfortunately selfhosting a server at home is gonna be a big no for the coming time 😌 and flac sizes are gonna be a problem 😂

We are shortterm thinkers, in the end its all "me & my family" vs "them". Instead of estimating the value of our fellows, we estimate the risk. Instead of using the infinite potential of infinite software & art availability for all humanity, we create artificial limitation.

You cannot copy hardware, but software you can. In a way software works like heaven, you create it once and "could" make it available for everyone. But we do not want heaven. We mistrust each other. "What if my friend uses the software against me?"
