But even if there was, there'd be no other way to track which clicks came from which episode.

@nprofile1q... It's a method of link-attribution that works in Google Analytics, PostHog, Fathom Analytics, and more.

For example (normally lowercase, but I put the variables in uppercase for clarity):

?utm_source=DJL_PODCAST_INDEX&utm_medium=SOCIAL&utm_campaign=UTM_FEATURE&utm_content=MESSAGE_TO_MARTIN

Following this link pattern, I could see what traffic came from all my "social" posts, or just what came from my "djl_podcast_index" source, or track my "utm_feature" campaign across email, social, …

If you use UTM parameters for links from your podcast, how do you like to format them?

1. utm_source: What do you prefer here?
2. utm_medium: I use "podcast" You?
3. utm_campaign: I use this for indicating the episode, like "tap433." What do you do?
4. utm_content: Do you use this optional one?
