Yea, spent my childhood there and moved here when I moved out of my parent's house.

If you step out of Christianity into post-Christian atheism (so-called "post-Christian" because it retains Christian culture and morality), then a relatively obvious factual statement: "Christianity ...

What you describe is kind of what modern secular Québec is like. We excellent Christians who do all the things but we still will often go to Catholic mass on Christmas. We will still hold some of the same central beliefs even if not all beliefs are held.

Not that surprising as I live in France which is also modern secular. Btw, I have had some pretty LLM driven discussions on pagan reconstruction attempts and fed the AI Kulaks article. He gets a few things wrong but still has some good ideas. I think a proto-Indo-European reconstruction (with creative synthesis of different traditions, especially where there are gaps in the record) is probably one of the best things we could do.

Maybe a updated to modernity religion that borrows from not only pagan thought across multiple European and proto-Indo-European traditions but also elements of Christianity would be something I would find very favorable if done well.

Yeah I'm largely agnostic but would consider myself at minimum spiritually aware and think there's utility to religion but it can also but dangerous if not organized and directed in the right manner so I largely agree with you. I'm just very favorable to religious elements native to European people or heavily influenced by European people.

I know Matty is Christian. It is ok. If Christianity was like 500 AD France then I would be a full blown Christian supporter but in the age of jet air travel and globalization I don't much care for universalism.

I've met many Christians that say they are though but are not fully into universalism in practice. Many are though and I find it suicidal. I don't think racist Christians are the most pro-universalist types though.
