you people on nostr need to get your heads checked.

Not a single critical comment to this podcast or even one asking if it's total bullshit.

I said it a bit differently. nostr:nevent1qqsxc97jcjkfeu2ndt3jx0vnkdgr7xdn9r32j9fxddmsgwjf7gy5cpczyrsu5903zj00pnkyt4t9ygkzzydc2vn7mefn27jufe7ru9cst2s05qcyqqqqqqghwv39w nostr:nevent1qqsxc97jcjkfeu2ndt3jx0vnkdgr7xdn9r32j9fxddmsgwjf7gy5cpczyrsu5903zj00pnkyt4t9ygkzzydc2vn7mefn27jufe7ru9cst2s05qcyqqq...

Lmao that's literally my setup

Except I think the rodecaster 2 is overkill for most people unless you're doing a lot of IRL live stuff (I like it cause it doubles as a PA mixer)

I would recommend the downsized rodecaster duo for most people

Got married 11 years ago Oktoberfest weekend.

Didn't have much fiat to my name at the time so sold some BTC to pay for the wedding.

There's definitely good reasons to sell your Bitcoin.

The trick is to know what is actually valuable.

Part of the reason Walker is becoming enemy #1 is because he is one of the few big podcasters who hasn't been going long enough to become audience captured and still thinks for himself.

Modern Bitcoin maximalism likes to think of itself as the white blood cells of the corpus but in reality it's more of a cancer that needs to be cut out for Bitcoin to grow.

with news of a malicious miner attacking monero, this is a timely throwback: https://blossom.primal.net/1ab99c79e0ef2813465a5b6de0e15972da33750ef8cdce339291ff385ba4c60f.png https://www.reddit.com/r...

Several of the core problems he points out still exist today, I think reactions to this post as "aging poorly" make the future of mining decentralization look pretty bleak as it reveals both a lack of awareness by Bitcoiners and a denial of these risks.

Peters biggest miss here is thinking that these centralization forces would be bad for price. Bitcoin can go much much higher before we realize it's too late to solve some of these things, I expect it to be at least another decade before we look back and wish we were more recognisant of minings problems.
