Street art is ephemeral, but it can become eternal if the message resonates with the viewer. This is "proof of the wall."

Ever since I started using Nostr, something inside me changed.
It feels like a constant urge to move forward, to become a better person, to be someone who actually contributes to the world of tomorrow.

But at the same time, there’s something darker.
A kind of frustration when I talk to people in real life and everything revolves around empty conversations… as if they were just a way to keep the mind busy without thinking about anything that really matters.

Last night, I was in bed while my partner was watching those short videos that are everywhere now.
Most of them were AI-generated stories: fast-paced, catchy… but completely empty.
I was about to lose it.

And then one came up that was different.

A guy was talking about the Prestige disaster.
And something inside me just clicked.

Because I was there.
I lived it firsthand.
I picked up oil with my own hands from the northern coast of Spain.

For those who don’t know: a ship carrying thousands of tons of oil got stranded in the middle of a storm.
It called for help.
And instead of making a clear decision, authorities let it drift… like a trapped ant forced to move in every direction without choosing any.

Meanwhile, the hull was breaking.
Oil was already leaking.

And what were politicians saying?
That nothing was happening.
That it wasn’t serious.
That it was just “small threads of plastic-like fuel.”

While they argued over responsibility, costs, and decisions…
the ship split in two.
And the sea turned black with oil.

And the president?
Out hunting.

But here’s the part that matters.
This is where everything changes.

When the system didn’t know what to do…
people did.

More than 300,000 people organized themselves almost overnight.
No waiting for orders.
No relying on anyone.

They went to the coast.
To clean.
To protect what was theirs.

They understood something fundamental:
no one will take care of what you love better than you.

That movement had a name: NUNCA MAIS.

And last night, in the middle of all that empty noise…
remembering this gave me something I thought I had lost:

Hope.
