I think its better to stay small. it was impossible for telegram to stay private with that many users. Privacy is small circles, the smaller the better. Profit should be sought in other areas, privac...

Our answer to staying small is decentralization. The vision for SimpleX network is 1000s of independent server operators, all profitable, and 10s of competing applications, all profitable too - our plan for infrastructure payments creates revenue not only for server operators, but for application developers too.
This way all participants are smaller than one large network they form. As with the Open Web.

To raise capital and to operate, we have to follow the securities laws. We provided the community the best possible opportunity to invest and to own a stake in the company, and if it doesn't work for you, it doesn't mean it won't work for other users.

Name is simply a reference to contact address - a way to connect.
Revocable by whom? They are records in blockchain contract, controlled by user key. So not revocable.
What's "sessionX"? :) But in general, verification always requires some alternative channel. If say a company publishes the name on the website, then you know that this name is likely controlled by the same entity that controls the website. This is not different from domain names - how do you know they are controlled by entities that you think they are?
